About Us

In 2004, Illa Drohman purchased one of the oldest homes in the town. It was opened that same year as Wellington Manor and houses Drohman's Salon and Day Spa.

Built in 1908, it was a Sears and Roebuck order home that came in over 30,000 pieces. A newel post hides signatures of previous owners and showcases the history of the home.

Drohman's is a full service salon and spa. Bridal packages are available including manicures, pedicures, massages, hair styling and facials.

Illa has many customers who keep coming back for the environment and the care they receive.

We are located in Wellington, about 15 -20 minutes north of Fort Collins, CO.

Attended Willlox Beauty Academy in Dodge City, Kansas in 1959.
Has been a cosmetologist for over 50 years.
Drohman's was established in 1986 in Wellington, CO and moved to their current location in 2004.

Ruth Knaack

"I have so enjoyed watching Wellington grow and meeting some mighty fine people along the way."

Graduated from James Hall College of Cosmetology in California in 1973. The past 25 years she has worked in Wellington, 23 years at Drohman's Salon.

Home state of Minnesota, but travelled with her Marine Corps husband around the country for 21 years. They settled in Colorado in 1981.

Sonia Bess

"I love what I do. I get a lot of satisfaction from my work, and I truly enjoy the comradery of my co workers and clients, they are my friends."

Graduated from Vicksburg School of Cosmetology and Hinds Junior College with a license in barbering. Licensed hairstylist for 28 years.

Originally from Mississippi.
Ms. Bess has lived in Wellington for ten years with her husband, Jeff, of twelve years, and their eight year old little boy Garrett and Rebel, a Welsh Spring Spaniel.
